About the event
What are ways in which participatory research projects co-create knowledge and enable new capacities; new solutions to pressing problems related to sustainability, social and economic disparities, cultural exclusion, mistrust and conflict?
Join us for a conversation on community based research and Participatory Action Research (PAR) with UNESCO Chairs in Community-Based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education Budd L. Hall and Rajesh Tandon. The discussion will revolve around the praxis of participatory research within the contexts of North-South-South and South-South partnerships among universities (academics), communities (civil society) and government (policy makers).
Cosponsored by the Critical Psychology Cluster (PhD Programs in Critical Social/Personality Psychology and Environmental Psychology); The Public Science Project, and The Narrating Change Mellon Seminar on Public Engagement and Collaborative Research.
