Antonia Levy is a German transplant to New York City and a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at the Graduate Center. Her research interests include political sociology, gender and sexuality, social movements and activism, political art, as well as visual sociology. Her Ph.D. thesis, titled "The Politics of Pleasure," focuses on both the sex workers' rights movement and the polyamory movement. She has been co-chair of several academic/activist conferences and workshops, including “Sex Work Matters: Beyond Divides” in 2005 and the Second Annual Feminist Pedagogy Conference in 2007.
