Daisy Atterbury is a doctoral student in English at the CUNY Graduate Center. She directs an annual seminar program in New Mexico around poetry, aesthetics and coloniality, founded in 2010. She has work forthcoming in a collection of artist's projects, Notes on Administration, by Publication Studio Portland in 2016. Together with Mirene Arsanios and Tarek El-Ariss she co-edited the "Feminisms" issue of Makhzin, a yearly magazine favoring conversations between authors of MENA and the rest of the world (2015). In recent collaborations with painter Johanna Tiedtke, she produced text-based installations appearing in Silvershed Gallery, New York and at Overbeck- Gesellschaft, Lübeck, Germany (2014-15). She has also written or interviewed artists for The Atlantic, The Book Bench at The New Yorker, and The Paris Review Daily. She received her MFA from the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts at Bard College and her BA at Yale University. She teaches at Queens College, CUNY.
