Jagna Ciuchta (b. 1977, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Poland) employs both collaboration and appropriation in her practice, exploring questions of authorship, territory, and property with photography and site-specific installation. Her work has been included in group exhibitions at La Box, Bourges, France (2016); Gallery Bellecour, Lyon (2015); and FIAC Paris (2014), among others. Her recent solo shows at La Galerie centre d'art contemporain de Noisy-le-Sec, France (2016) and FRAC Champagne-Ardenn (2016) have included the work of other contemporary artists, blurring the boundaries of traditional exhibition practices. In 2013 she held an artist’s residency at LMCC in New York. Ciuchta currently lives and works in Paris.
