Josh Kline is an artist and independent curator based in New York. In 2013, he had a solo show at 47 Canal, New York, and his work was included in group exhibitions at Kunsthalle Fridericianum, Kassel, Germany; MoMA PS1, New York; Murray Guy, New York; Night Gallery, Los Angeles; and Marianne Boesky Gallery, New York; among others. His work will also be included in upcoming exhibitions at castillo/corrales, Paris, France; Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing, China; the High Line, New York; Schirn Kunsthalle, Frankfurt, Germany; and Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia; USA. As a curator, Kline has organized numerous exhibitions at institutions, galleries, and artist-run spaces in New York including MoMA PS1, Andrea Rosen Gallery, Art in General, Gresham’s Ghost, 247365, 179 Canal, and Canada Gallery. Between 2005-2014, Kline held a curatorial position with New York non-profit Electronic Arts Intermix, organizing screenings, performances, exhibitions, and artist presentations. Kline's art has been widely discussed in publications including The New York Times, Frankfurter Allgemeinezeitung, Artforum, Frieze, Mousse, The New Yorker, Aperture, Dismagazine.com, ArtReview, and Flash Art.
