Chloe Wyma is a doctoral candidate in art history at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and an associate editor at Artforum. Her writing has appeared in publications including Artforum, Dissent, New York Magazine, the New York Times Book Review, the Village Voice, and the Brooklyn Rail, where she previously served as an associate editor. Wyma is a recipient of a 2016–17 Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship and a 2018 Creative Capital | Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant for short-form writing. She is currently planning a dissertation on magic realism in the United States, focusing on the artistic circle around cultural impresario Lincoln Kirstein.
