Christoph Keller born in Switzerland, divides his time between New York and St. Gallen, Switzerland, and writes in both German and English. He is the author of numerous prize-winning novels, plays and essays in German, including Gulp (1988); I’d Like My Country Flat (1996) and The Stone Eye (2016); and the best-selling memoir The Best Dancer (2003). The most recent publications are We’re On: A June Jordan Reader, co-edited with Jan Heller Levi (Alice James Books, 2017), A Meaningful Life 2.0, short prose (Birutjatio, 2018) and Hip Hops: Poems about Beer (Everyman’s Library Pocket Poets, 2018).
