Cievel Xicohtencatl is a multidisciplinary artist, educator and cultural organizer working between NYC and Mexico. As a second generation migrant, her work often explores themes identity-based politics and culture. She received her BA in Studio Art from CUNY Hunter College and served as Community Relations Coordinator for Friends of the High Line.
