Elena Glasberg is an essayist and speaker interested in questions of nation, literature, and science, as well as how people relate to place and territory. She earned her BA in English with honors from SUNY Purchase in 1981 and went on to earn her PhD in American Studies from Indiana University in 1995. She has taught in the Writing Program at Princeton University, and now teaches at NYU.
