Lee Ziesche is a writer, documentary filmmaker and organizer with Sane Energy Project who has spent the last 7 years working with communities across New York to stop fracking and fracked gas infrastructure. Sane Energy Project is a key member of the Stop The Williams Pipeline Coalition, which has successfully mobilized tens of thousands of New Yorkers to oppose the Williams NESE fracked gas pipeline. Sane is also a party in the Con Ed and National Grid rate cases where Lee and her co-worker Kim Fraczek have been fighting corporate utility rate hike proposals that fail the climate test by investing hundreds of millions of dollars expanding and extending the life of fracked gas infrastructure. She is also a host and producer for NYC-DSA's weekly radio show Revolutions Per Minute on WBAI and has extensively covered the Green New Deal and campaign for Public Power in New York.
