Linda Stein is an activist visual artist, writer, lecturer, performer, and videographer living in New York City.  The New York City representative of her visual work is Flomenhaft Gallery, and her multi-media sculpture has been the topic of several academic essays in journals including Women's Art Journal, Feminist Studies, and Journal of Lesbian Studies. She has published essays and creative writing in venues like HLF Quarterly and On the Issues: A Magazine of Feminist Progressive Thinking, among others. Stein is the Founding President of the non-profit organization Have Art: Will Travel! Inc. (HAWT), the umbrella organization through which her two current traveling exhibitions and educational programs, Holocaust Heroes: Fierce Females and The Fluidity of Gender, have been featured at over 30 national and international venues.
