Luciana Parisi conveys the MA Interactive Media at the Centre for Cultural Studies, Goldsmiths College. In 2004, she published Abstract Sex. Philosophy, Biotechnology and the Mutations of Desire (Continuum Press).   She has published various articles in TekhnemaParallaxCtheorySocial TextMuteTCS, and Sexualities concerning the relation between science, technology, and the ontogenetic dimensions of evolution in nature, culture and capitalism. Her research has also focussed on the impact of biotechnologies on the notions of the body, sex, femininity and desire.
