Pedro Felipe Vintimilla (b. 1978, Cuenca, Ecuador) is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City for the past 13 years. He is currently an MFA candidate from Queens College-CUNY, with a concentration in Social Practice. He has shaped his career as an Arts Educator and Creative Director, collaborating with artists, institutions, and communities. Through this experience, he has found that his artistic process must be balanced between personal projects and community engaged activities, to generate conversations of identity and social justice. His current formal practice focuses on a dialogue between printmaking and ceramics, but also experimenting other creative outlets through writing and performance.
