Richard Move is a Director, Choreographer, Performing Artist, Filmmaker and Artistic Director of MoveOpolis! and Move It! Productions. Move’s film Bardo premiered January 9, 2009, at the Lincoln Center Dance on Camera Festival and was nominated for the Jury Prize. Among other notable projects, Move was commissioned Martha Graham Dance Company to create Lamentation Variation, which was presented as a part of the Company’s 2009 season. Move also appears as a Guest Artist with the Centre Choréographique National de Tours (CCNT) in Tours, France. Move has his MFA in Media Arts Production from The City College of New York and is represented by Gillian Newson Associates, Beth Blickers / Abrams Artists and HP Garcia Gallery.
