About the Summit

The Center for Humanities at the Graduate Center, CUNY and the Youth Education Summit Interns (YES-I), as part of the Allies in Education: Building Coalitions for Youth-Driven Research and Advocacy research team, will host a youth-led summit on educational justice, art, and activism! The event will bring together students and their allies in educational justice to up-pack issues, concerns, and realities in education through creative and artistic expression (collaborative art-making, workshops, open-mic, and more.) Youth and allies will work together to imagine a future in education with justice and youth-voice at the core.
